How can we see planets

  1. Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn can be observed from earth with naked eyes.It is a bit hard to differentiate between the planets and stars. For this we take you back to your Kinder Garden...Recall the poem-"Twinkle twinkle little star".We are all familiar with this poem. This is a perfect solution that can help us differentiate between a planet and a star.
  2. Whenever you find any celestial body twinkling,it's a star. Those which do not twinkle are planets.
  3. This can be defined by the concept of Refraction. The difference in the refractive indices makes it all happen.
